Moving on to the Beetleborgs tributes, starting with Drew McCormick, the Blue Stinger / Chromium Gold Beetleborg.
This show was fun but much like Masked Rider I felt it wasted a lot of its potential by spending most of the episodes focusing on haunted house hijinks and Benny Hill-ing around with monsters before remembering they were a superhero show for the last 5 minutes :)
Having said that, watching it back I realize how much heavy lifting Billy Forrester did as Flabber to keep the episodes going. It could be genuinely funny and some of the bigger storylines (Showborg, Metallix powers etc.) were decent.
